Post subject: January 21st and 24th Bush Flight

Due to my having installed a bunch of scenery recently that required me to mess around with manual installation and actually replacing default files in the flight sim with altered versions, my flight sim is screwed up in at least the Glacier Bay area and locks up my entire machine.

The scenery that screwed me up, I believe, is the 9 Dragons Hong Kong package. If you haven't installed this yet, don't!! If you have, my sympathies. It looks like I'm going to have to wipe out and reinstall my entire full install of flight sim. Simply uninstalling and reinstalling Glacier Bay didn't work, nor did trying to find and restore all of the changes I made during the 9 Dragons install.

I'm feeling so rotten from fibromyalgia right now that I don't dare to try to fix it - my head feels like it's full of cotton balls.

Consequently, the bush flight for this week is postponed until next week. Sorry, fellas. (I HATE this when this happens!!!)

Confused

Don't worry Bob, you don't have to apologize. Your health is much more important than just a flight.

And ehh... I know, installing the 9 Dragons is not really a click and install but at least it is working here.

Take the time to reinstall your stuff, we are able to do a flight together, we have more than 30 to choose from :).

Take it easy and get to feeling better. We can wait on your next

adventure. Sorry about the problem with your computer. We can take up

our free time working on Stoopy's Hop List and repeating some of your

fantastic Bush Flights. We look forward to your return with lots of fun ideas.

What a major drag! I hope you feel better soon. You postponing todays bush flight is understandable and in no way take away the fun from future flights. I look in anticipation to the next. I've been using two monitors this weekend on some off-line flights and wanted to do the same today in a multi-player session but now I'll wait until tomorrow to to it at PROPS Racing.

Guys, I owe a HUGE apology to the folks who made 9 Dragons. It turns out I was jumping to conclusions (that's how I get my exercise...). 9 Dragons is fine. It was, after all, one of my own failed attempts at a new variety of scenery that was causing my machine to lock up. Shocked I've repaired my full install of flight sim, although I need to re-install a bunch of scenery, including 9 Dragons.

I'm feeling much better Smile and I'll be ready to fly with you on Thursday. I can't wait to see which bush flight you want to re-visit Mr. Green . This hiccup does give me time to make the next adventure that much better.

Once again, my deepest apologies to the 9 Dragons creators. Their scenery package is excellent, and deserves high praise.

Yours sheepishly Rolling Eyes ,
-Bob-
