Post subject: How to back up your CoD5:WaW Profile

Since day 1, Treyarch has had some issues with their WaW Master Server. So it can happen, when you log in, your Rank - Weapons - Challenges data are all gone! And once they are lost, you can never get them back !

Here's how to back it up so it won't happen again.

*** One Click Profile back up ***

One click on the .bat file automatically places a back up of your COD World at War player profile into
your Documents folder in case you loose it or have to re-install the game.

There is one for XP and one for Vista. Both are in the zip. Read Me with directions included.

Thanks to [PSI]SnowWhite and viperman551 for this amazing tool!

Hiya Sno and welcome back!

Yep, I lost my single player profile the last time I did my some computer upgrades and had to start over. I did beat the game on single player mode and must say 5 reminds me of the first one in it's layout and design which I liked quite well.

You'll be happy to know WaW runs in Windows 7 too. While 7 runs DX11 and WaW needs DX9c, you can install 9c and 7 will only install the files it doesn't have in DX. FYI...It does run much better in 7 than in XP.

Not so with Ghost Recon 3, but that's another story... Wink

Thanks for the welcome back Bushy - It's been a rough few months.

As for WaW , The last patch fixed quite a bit with playability but backing up your profile is the only way to go ... I hate doing things twice... except for ... well ...
