Hi everyone,
I do have a bit of a problem with IL2. I'm trying to make a campaign about Germany's Western Front and the North African Campaign but I do follow the steps in campaign making set by FlyingNutcase (see video on com central videos), but when I test run it, it DOESN'T SHOW UP!!!!
I tried to delete it and make another one but that doesn't show up on campaign selection either.
I'm always open for suggestions.

Cool, I am glad to see that you were able to figure it out.
If you decide to release it to the public just let me know and I will help you through the uploading procedure to our downloads section if you need it.

Even though uploading your file may seem daunting since the list below looks fairly long after you do it once or twice you will find that it is a fairly simple process.
First you will need to get all the files together for your campaign and make them a .zip or .rar file before you can upload them to the Downloads area. You should also include a readme in the .zip or .rar file that gives any special instructions necessary to make your campaign work. I use a notepad file for the readme since almost everyone can open it and read it.
After that is done follow the instructions below.
- In the top Toolbar under Members Options you will find the Downloads link.
Click on the Downloads link.
- On the Downloads page you should see an Add Download link.
Main | Search | My Downloads | Add Download | New Downloads | Random
Click on the Add Download link.
Now you will be at the Download Management page.
- The first section "Load PAD File" is used to enter Pad files.
- URL: I do not use
- File: I do not use
I have no idea how this section works so I don't use it and it is not necessary for your upload.
- The next box is the Download Title box.
Enter the name for your download in the Download Title box.
- The next boxes are the Download URLs boxes.
- URL: Use this box if you are uploading the file to MediaFire or another download service.
- Remote MD5: No Idea how this one works so I don't use it.
- File: This is the one that you use to upload the file directly from your computer.
Use the Browse button to find the file on your computer.
After you enter the URL link or Browse to the file on your computer click on the Add URL or File button.
Wait for the file to upload.
This step is when most problems occur so if you get an error message write it down so we can figure out what to do to get your campaign uploaded.
- The next boxes are the Screenshots boxes.
- URL: Use this if you are using a remote hosting site like Photobucket for your screenshot picture
- File: This is the one that you use to upload the picture directly from your computer.
Use the Browse button to find the file on your computer.
After you enter the URL link or Browse to the file on your computer click on the Add URL or File button.
Wait for the file to upload.
- The next box is the Category box.
Here is where you choose the best area for your download.
Click the down arrow and scroll down to the section that best describes your upload.
For now I think the best option for your campaign is IL2-AEP-FB-PF-1946 Combat Flight Simulator.
Click on it to chose it
- The next box is the Short Description box.
Enter a short description for your download.
(This description is what is seen in the preview sections of the downloads area)
- The next box is the Description box.
Enter the rest of the information describing your campaign in this box.
Do not duplicate the information in the Short Description box.
- The next box is the Author's Name box.
Enter your username. (This field is optional)
- The next box is the Author's Email box.
Enter your email address. (This field is optional)
- The next box is the Compatibility box.
This is where you enter what version of IL-2 Sturmovik you used to make the campaign.
Including any mod packs that you might have utilized.
- The next box is the File Size box.
If you know the File Size of our upload enter it in this box. (This field is optional)
- The next box is the Homepage box.
If you have a website of your own enter its URL in this box. (This field is optional)
- The next box is the Version box.
This is the version number for your campaign files and not the version number of IL-2 that you utilized to make the campaign. (This field is optional)
- After you have entered all of the information in the last above click the "Submit Download" button at the bottom of the page.
The file has now been submitted for Admin approval.
